So it seems the tantrums have a mind of their own. Klarka spent the weekend with her father, and he claims there were ZERO meltdowns. I did some research and found the Child Behavior Checklist created by Dr. Noel Swanson. We each did our own surveys and compared. Once we compared it was easier to talk about everything. It’s amazing how different, yet similar several of our answers were. It’s easy to discern that she acts very different around both of us. I am a lot stricter when it comes to discipline. Karin will attempt to be, but gives in when Klarka goes into total meltdown. It’s not something I can do. I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I do raise/discipline kids like my mother did to us. She wasn’t physical unless needed, but I do have a lot of patience and can easily ignore a child once I’ve said no. Screaming fits don’t bother me as much as other adults.
I’m hoping that once school gets really going and the routine set, Klarka will become easier to handle. She’ll no longer have golf on Wednesday afternoons, but that’s just until April when she’ll restart out in Líšnice. So a bit less on the workout every week will hopefully help.
Btw, just gotta say, I love facebook. I’ve found sooo many aunts, uncles, cousins, etc on there and I ❤ you facebook lol 😀
