“You like me, you really like me!” – Sally Field (misquoted acceptance speech for Places in the Heart – 1984).
Wow, they really like me. I clean, offered to cook, I help grocery shop/put stuff away and the boys like me 🙂 and I’m only on the computer in my free time 🙂 I never saw the point to being on the computer constantly waiting for something new to pop up, so I like to be surprised. The boys are at day care today so I’m free to do whatever. I need to start going to bed earlier, I keep waking up at 10am. I need to start waking up at 8am just so I can get a full day in.
I love the weather here so I could keep my windows open all day, but it seems like the neighbor is ALWAYS doing some kind of construction or yard work making everything so loud!! Ugh, I have to keep changing the volume of my tv.
Goal today: find a fun, interesting hotel to stay at in Sydney. Nothing boring and normal. I want someplace fun with a different decor to each room or something as unique as being log or underground. That, plus the Blue Mountains, Jenolan Caves and Sydney Harbour,, would make for an AWESOME weekend 🙂
Alicia showed me this video, you so have to see it: http://youtu.be/KdOpKv9D7rA
Yay! I get to get out of the house today. Going to the studio with Alex and Alicia to help clean and get it ready for more shoots. Today is with dogs for a website selling dog clothes Only took us a little less than an hour, but we were almost late picking the boys up from day care. They were the last ones and we made it just before penalty time.
OMG!! I just had my first experience with the twins in the grocery store. I am so glad I wasn’t alone with them. I felt like I was trying to corral calves!! They were nuts. Finally got Gussy into the cart and proceeded to spend the next hour trying to keep Ewey from throwing anything and everything into the cart… I’m sorry, I was just informed that it’s called a “trolley”, thank you Gussy. Oh, now he doesn’t like the idea that us Texans call them cart, ha ha. Gussy got mad if I was pushing the cart, “only daddy can push”. The boys are still in that phase where only mommy and daddy can do things for them and they freak out/scream if someone else tries to. Alex is making homemade pizza and I talked him into trying my Texas chili cheese dogs tomorrow night.
Oh, got home just in time for a Ravens-Steelers game!! Yay!!
I swear these boys just sucked down 3 yogurts each. Yikes!! They eat so much, but at least its healthy stuff, well as healthy as vegemite can get, ha ha.
Ewey is running around with my green cushie pillow screaming “squishy”.
One thing I’ll probably never get used to is being called “mate”, “doll” and “love” by random people. It has got to be the weirdest thing to hear, ha ha. At least no one has called me sheila… yet. Guess I’ll have to wait for a trip to the outback for that one.
Here are the bottles I bought the boys. They LOVE them 🙂
